System Architect at ELESTER

Safety-Related Railway & Automotive Systems · Requirements Engineering

Requirements and systems engineer with a solid background in software engineering. Since 2013 I have worked on safety-related railway signalling (ERTMS/ETCS) projects, taking roles from software developer and product owner to system engineer, requirements manager and team leader, and since 2022 also on automotive systems with ASPICE. Today I work as a system architect at ELESTER. I enjoy leading teams and helping team members grow their competencies.

Projects

Projects of my own, mostly around requirements management, traceability and safety-related railway and automotive software.

ALM OS

In development (MVP done)

RustALMTraceabilityCENELECPlugin Architecture

An "operating system for ALM": a kernel that ties existing tools (Jira, GitLab, Azure DevOps, Confluence, DOORS/Polarion) and native components into one ALM. One item identity graph across tools, a kernel-owned trace registry, cross-tool baselines stored in git as evidence, and evidence prepared for assessment of railway safety projects (EN 50126/50128/50129/50716, CLC/TS 50701). Every ALM component is a plugin behind a language-independent HTTP/JSON contract.

ReqManTool

Active

Requirements ManagementReqIFTraceabilityGit

A local-first, DOORS-inspired requirements management tool for small teams: projects, modules, hierarchical requirements, custom attributes, directional traceability links and ReqIF/CSV export. Requirements are stored as plain JSON files, so history, review and backup are just git. Runs as a desktop app or a web server, and is plugin #1 of ALM OS.

C / C++ERTMS/ETCSEN 50128SIL 42oo2

A workspace of independently versioned C/C++ and Python products for building safety-related railway software around an ERTMS/ETCS Radio Block Centre, targeting CENELEC EN 50128 / SIL 4. Follows the Reference CCS Architecture (RCA): application logic is written against a platform-independent safe API, while the Safe Computing Platform owns redundancy, 2oo2 voting, communication and safe-state handling.

LogViewer

Active

C++20Qt 6CANAUTOSAR DLTAI

A cross-platform log viewer built with Qt 6 and C++20. Reads XML, CSV, Vector CAN/ASC with DBC signal decoding, AUTOSAR DLT, POSIX Evlog and safeAPI 2oo2 merged test logs. A virtual list keeps very large logs responsive; adds filter profiles, format-aware statistics, a test-run explorer, AI-assisted analysis and a plugin system.

CAN Pro-Decoder

v0.1.1

PythonCANDBCMatplotlib

A CAN log analyzer and signal visualizer for Windows. Decodes Vector ASC logs with standard DBC files, filters by message name or ID in real time and plots multiple signals on a synchronized timeline. Ships as a standalone executable with no Python install required.

AstroTypeScriptCloudflare

This site: a portfolio, a blog on safety-related systems and a set of browser-based engineering tools (ASIL/SIL determination, CRC, bit and number-system calculators, requirement ID generator, scenario writer with PlantUML export). Static Astro site deployed on Cloudflare, in English and Polish.
